When did we give up on comfort and style in furniture design?

Furniture design hasn’t changed much in the last 100 years. It's bulky, static, and only serves a single purpose. We changed that.

Meet the Bombo™ —

cozy, modular furniture that is radically useful

The Bombois designed to reflect our constantly changing lifestyles. The adjustable air bladder gives you the freedom to control the shape and functionality of your Bombo™ Use it as a dining chair, pillow, floor couch, stretching cushion, love pillow, meditation seat, laptop table, or whatever else your heart desires.

It took months of research and countless prototypes to find the perfect balance between our natural filling and air. The result is a Casa Tamarindo exclusive, patent-pending design that feels like nothing you've ever experienced before.

As a way to lower our carbon footprint, all our bombo™ covers are made using surplus and deadstock fabrics from our local upholsters and their respective fabric shops. This means our available options are always changing and are always limited edition. Once we run out we cannot guarantee we will make that style again.

For storage, moving, or camping purposes, deflating the air bladder reduces the size of the bombo™ by more than 50%; making it ideal to store in those small spaces all other chairs wishfully desire.

One of the best parts? It's good for you to sit on. When it’s in chair mode, the air bladder creates an effect that is similar to a stability ball, but much cozier and grounding. Studies have shown, sitting on this style of chair can improve stability and balance. This results in stronger ab muscles that protect the lower back and promote better posture. Some people call it the solution for a sexy body, we call it Activated Seating.
