So we built a tank. When The Travelers Club asked us to build them a tank for their first ever festival "FUTURE STANDARD", we knew it was an opportunity we could refuse. With less than two months to work, we quickly started looking for waste that could serve as the basis of our materials. We also knew there were technological and performance steps that we had to design around.

At first we started experimenting with making the frame with bamboo. However, due to the fact that the majority of bamboo we found was already dry and not ideal for bending, we had to switch to a welded metal frame. For the covering we used waste mesh fabric that is used for green houses and recycled rope. We made the wheels from waste hose tubing. After we painted a groovy military pattern.

We are happy to say that EXCEPT for the metal frame and paint EVERYTHING else was waste.
